અન્ન બને પ્રસાદ ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે અન્ન માં,
જળ બને ચરણામૃત ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે જળ માં,
અગ્નિ બને દીપક ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે અગ્નિ માં,
ભૂખ બને ઉપવાસ ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે ભૂખ માં,
યાત્રા બને તીર્થયાત્રા ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે યાત્રા માં,
સંગીત બને કીર્તન ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે સંગીત માં,
ગીત બને ભજન ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે ગીત માં,
ઘર બને મંદિર ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે ઘર માં,
વિશ્વાસ બને શ્રદ્ધા ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે વિશ્વાસ માં,
કાર્ય બને કર્મ ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે કાર્ય માં,
કર્મ બને સેવા ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે કર્મ માં,
માનવ બને સંત ક્ષણ માં,
જયારે ભક્તિ ભળે માનવ માં,

આજે દિવસ એટલે અધિક અષાઢ માસ અને તિથી પૂનમ. હિંદુ સંસ્કૃતિ માં પૂનમ અને અમાસ નું મહત્વ તો ઘણું. આ કદાચ એક જ એવી સંસ્કૃતિ હશે કે જે શરદ પૂનમ પણ ઉજવે અને અંધારી રાતે અજવાળું લાવતી એ દિવાળી ની અમાસી રાત પણ ઉજવે.
મને પણ થયું કે લાવ ને આજ મારા મન ને વાચા આપું, ને આ પથરાયેલા અજવાળા માં થોડો ભક્તિ નો પણ પ્રકાશ ફેલાવું. આ ચંદ્ર સાથે નું મારું ખુલ્લું યુદ્ધ ખરું પણ ચંદ્ર ને ગમે એવું. આ ચંદ્ર પણ બિચારો પણ સુરજ ની ભક્તિ થી જ શીતળતા પામે અને આપણ ને એના પૂર્ણ હોવા ના પુરાવા મહિના માં એક વાર આપી જાય.
ભક્તિ ની શક્તિ અમાપ અને અફાટ હોઈ છે. આપણે આ બધું જ અનુભવીએ અવાર નવાર પણ આપણા માનસપટલ પર એ ક્ષણિક જ રહે છે. હું આ મોકો ગુમાવીશ નહિ. એટલે જ તો કંઇક રસપ્રદ મેં વાંચ્યું અને મન માં ઉતાર્યું એ તમારી સમક્ષ લઇ ને આવ્યો છું. પ્રસાદ સમજી ને સ્વીકારશો તો હૈયે પ્રકાશ થતા વાર નહિ લાગે.
ચાલો લઇ જાઉં એક નાનકડી શબ્દ સફર પર, આનંદ પણ થશે અને અંદર ઉજાસ પણ થશે.

છેલ્લી પંક્તિ માં અતિશયોક્તિ વરતાય ખરી પણ મુશ્કેલ તો નથી જ. ખાલી ભક્તિ નો ભાવ જ આ દિશા માં આપણ ને પદાર્પણ કરાવે એટલે ઘણું ખરું મળી જાય.
Power of The Devotion:
This post I wrote in my mother tongue exactly before 15 days in the "Adhik Ashadh" as per the Hinud Lunar Calendar. That was Full Moon Day [Purnima].
Today is the New Moon Day, the very FIRST Day "आषाढस्य प्रथम दिवस्य्" of the Hindu Lunar Calendar Month "Ashadh". This month indeed an auspicious month according to Hinduism. In this month devotees are celebrating The Krishna returning to home on 2nd day of the "Ashadh". Likewise all human, lord Krishna used to visit his maternal uncle for a Vacation and then returning back to home. This sounds very innocent. This month is also the month of making our own-self ready for the festive and spiritual moods for coming months which are "Shrawan, Bhadarvo and Aaso". So in order to keep that momentum I decided to translate my post on this day.
Hindu culture is the unique in certain sense, they equally celebrate and respect Full Moon Day and No Moon Day. They rejoice "Sharad Purnima" [The Biggest Full Moon Day] and at the same time "Diwali" [The No Moon Day] by lighting millions of lamp to kill the utter darkness with equal harmony and devotion. They have same respect to the BRIGHTNESS and DARKNESS. Isn't it the TRUE DEVOTION behind this emotion and action?
This really encouraged me to give voice to my thoughts and spread some more light of DEVOTION in this already spread brightness. By doing so I am just right away battling with this rising moon on the first day of this hindu month, but I am sure that the Moon indeed like my battle and the bright and calm symbol of light will appreciate and accept my battle. The Moon himself blessed by the eternal and diving and flawless light of the Sun that is only possible due to his DEVOTION and FAITH in the Sun. And that is why The Moon gives us the best evidence of his completeness once in every month on the Full Moon Day.
We all believe that the Power of Devotion is immense and infinite. We all experience the same frequently in our routine life, but how long it resides there? I think just for few moments or glimpse. I will capitalize on this opportunity, i read something very interested and enchanting and imbibed it within. So thought of to share with all of you. Hope that you all will appreciate it. This will surely enlighten your heart with divine brightness of Devotion.

When BHAKTI enters FIRE,
FIRE transforms to DIVINE LAMP,
When BHAKTI enters HUNGER,
HUNGER transforms to FAST,
When BHAKTI enters TRAVEL,
TRAVEL transforms to PILGRIMAGE,
When BHAKTI enters MUSIC,
MUSIC transforms to KIRTAN,
When BHAKTI enters SONG,
SONG transforms to HYMN,
When BHAKTI enters HOME,
HOME transforms to TEMPLE,
When BHAKTI enters TRUST,
TRUST transforms to FAITH,
When BHAKTI enters ACTUS,
ACTUS transforms to KARMA,
When BHAKTI enters KARMA,
KARMA transforms to SERVICE,

HUMAN transforms to SAINT
Last lines exhibit exaggeration but not impossible. True spirit and right direction will definitely become charioteer in the journey of true devotion towards the Supreme Power.
